Days of Industry with Doors Open Days
This September STICK is working with the Scottish Civic Trust to raise awareness of the industrial and transport heritage of Scotland by challenging you to visit as many sites of industrial and transport heritage participating in the Doors Open Days across Scotland as you can.
Days of Industry
As part of our remit to promote Scottish transport and industry collections, STICK is offering a postcard based activity to raise the awareness of industrial heritage through the Doors Open Days weekends.
The postcards will ask members of the public to sticker their cards at participating museums, archives and other industrial and transport sites.
**You can download a printable version of the postcard here.**
If they get 4 or more stickers the card will qualify for our prize draw. It can be handed in at manned sites or posted to the STICK address by 31st October. The prize draw will be held on Friday 4th November for the following prizes:
- Annual pass to National Mining Museum Scotland.
- Family ticket (one entry for family of four) to the National Museum of Flight (valid April - September 2012).
Prize Draw Rules
- Cards will only be eligible for entry to the prize draw if they have 4 or more stickers from different sites.
- All cards must be received by 31st October 2011.
- The draw will be held on Friday 4th November at the National Museum of Scotland.
UPDATE: The prizes have been won by Mrs J Holt (East Fortune ticket) and Mr John Holt (NMMS prize) of Edinburgh. The prizes are winging their way to them very soon.
